Manufactured in 1908. Desirable blued 22" nickel steel barrel chambered in .25-35 WCF with gold bead blade front sight, sporting rear, and additional tang mounted folding Lyman aperture sight. Takedown frame. Standard length walnut forend as is correct for 22" short rifles. Select grain stock as is sometimes seen on special order rifles with crescent rifle butt plate. CONDITION: Good. Barrel and magazine tube retain the vast majority of their factory blue with fading and high edge wear. Frame also retains significant portions of original blue fading to a toned patina. Stocks have some scattered impressions but are otherwise very good. Good well defined bore with some light frosting. Fine mechanics. PROVENANCE: Jim Cyr Collection
