Manufactured by Miroku in Japan, this is number 806 of 875 produced as the "2002 Friends of NRA / Gun of the Year", as inlaid in gold on the right side of the receiver. The polish blued octagon barrel currently sports an attractive vintage style Malcom 6X Scope with thread on caps. Right side of the high wall receiver engraved with a gold inlaid NRA seal surrounded by foliate scrolls and gold borders. The left side features a brace of elk in a mountain scene with similar scroll work and gold borders. Deluxe checkered high gloss figured walnut Schnabel tipped forend and straight grip stock with solid Browning recoil pad. CONDITION: Excellent. Nearly all of the factory blue is retained with some faint high edge silvering and handling marks. Stocks are likewise very fine with only a few minor impressions. Fine, strong and bright bore.
