Circa 1901. The blued smokeless nickel steel barrel is fitted with a Marbles Sheard front sight, folding sporting rear, and folding aperture sight mounted to the tang. Desirable takedown frame. Classic smooth walnut stocks with crescent rifle butt plate. CONDITION: Good. Barrel and magazine tube retain the vast majority of their factory blue with some light wear and a few older oxidation spots. Receiver also displays significant portions of factory blue with some older oxidation spots, cleaned lightly at some point with steel wool. Strong nitre blue on loading gate. Stocks are very good with light impressions as cleaned and reoiled. Good, well defined bore. Crisp mechanics. PROVENANCE: Jim Cyr Collection.
