Manufactured in 1924 during the first year of production with 3 digit "543" serial number. Classic blued nickel steel round barrel with Lyman gold bead blade front sight, u-notch rear, and tang mounted folding Marbles peep sight. Solid frame and button magazine. Fitted with plain 2-piece walnut stocks and a serrated steel butt plate. CONDITION: Good. Barrel retains the vast majority of its factory blue with some moderate wear and other spots of loss. Frame also retains significant portions of factory blue with carry wear, areas fading to gray patina. Stocks have some expected finish loss and field impressions but are otherwise good. Fine, bright bore with well defined rifling. Crisp mechanics. PROVENANCE: Jim Cyr Collection.
