Although 20" Model 64 carbines were available prior to WWII, they were not available in .219 Zipper chambering. This circa 1940s production appears to have been shortened from a rifle. The crowned blued barrel is fitted with a set back standard hooded ramped front sight blade and bolt peep rear. Plain walnut forend and pistol grip stock with checkered steel butt plate. CONDITION: Good. Rifle retains the vast majority of its factory blue with moderate wear and some freckling. Forend retains portions of original finish with some light marks. Stock displays the vast majority of its original finish with light marks throughout. Fine bright bore. Crisp mechanics. A nice professional carbine conversion in desirable .219 Zipper chambering. PROVENANCE: Jim Cyr Collection.
