Manufactured in 1913. Blued tapered round barrel with King front sight and receiver mounted Redfield aperture rear. Fitted with an ebony inlaid Schnabel tipped splinter forend and straight grain walnut stock with coarsely hand checkered crescent rifle butt plate. CONDITION: Good. Barrel retains significant portions of blue fading to gray patina. Receiver retains traces of blue in protected areas, the balance turned to patina. Forend appears lightly cleaned with light handling marks. Stock has some scattered impressions. Plugged sling swivel holes present in both forend and stock. Bore displays strong, well defined rifling. Crisp mechanics. PROVENANCE: Jim Cyr Collection.
