The society commissioned a run of 50 special edition, 24 k gold plated special pistols of which this is number 27. Using a standard Government Model 45 as the basis, this gun features an engraved oak leave pattern with C coverage that bears special inscription on the left side of the slide and the entire gun is gold plated with exception to the mainspring housing and the polished barrel. The Colt legend is on the left side of the frame. The grips are faux pearl with gold plated screws. Gun comes in a glass top display case with paperwork. CONDITION: Appears unfired with light handling. PROVENANCE: Jim Cyr Collection.
