Presto, a trade mark of George Schrade Knife Company operated from 1929-1956 in Bridgeport Conn. Listed on page 106 as the 4 1/8" singles. Both knives feature jigged bone handles with steel bolsters and both have lanyard loops. Both blades are stamped Presto Pat Pend on one side with G.Schrade B'Port, CT on other side. One has the Hawkbill style blade which is rather scarce. CONDITION: Excellent. Both sets of handles are crack and chip free. Blades are excellent and do not appear to have been sharpened. Both open and lock correctly. PROVENANCE: From a single consignor life long collection. A great many of these knives were obtained from Mark Erikson and many are pictured in his book "Antique American Switchblades" published in 2004.
