Lot consists of an original store display from the 1950s. It is a cardboard, easel back that contains 12 original knives that have been on this display since uncovered around 1960. Each knife measures 4 1/4" when open. Blades are marked Snappy. There are four of each scale color. Condition: Knives all appear as near new. The display measures 7 1/4 x 8 1/4 showing usual corner and edge wear. PROVENANCE: From a single consignor life long collection. A great many of these knives were obtained from Mark Erikson and many are pictured in his book "Antique American Switchblades" published in 2004.
