The lot consists of a mix of fishtail knives from various makers. (A) Marked "Edgemaster / U.S.A." with brass liners, and pink swirl plastic handles. Spring functions properly. (B) Marked "PRESTO / PAT. PEND-G" and "G. SCHRADE / B'PORT, CT.". Jigged bone handles with steel liners. Spring functions properly. (C) Marked "SHUR-SNAP / COLONIAL / U.S.A.". Red swirl plastic scales with brass liners. Patina throughout, functioning spring. (D) Marked same as (C) and same construction with orange swirl scales. Functioning spring with light patina. (E) Marked same as (C) and same construction with green swirl and yellow swirl scales. Lock is spotty, patina throughout. All measure 4". CONDITION: Fair-very good. PROVENANCE: From a single consignor's life long collection. A great many of these knives were obtained from Mark Erikson and many are pictured in his book "Antique American Switchblades" published in 2004.
