Lot consists of (A) Marked "THE FLYLOCK / KNIFE CO. / B'PORT. CONN." along with patent information. Gold plated scales with beaded border and silvered liners. Blades with blemishes. Spotty spring on secondary blade. (B) Marked "THE FLYLOCK / KNIFE CO. / B'PORT. COT." along with patent information. Aluminum scales and liner with beaded border. Blades with blemishes. Strong springs. (C) Marked by Flylock with some markings obscured by patina. Brass liner with synthetic scales. Dark patina, functioning spring. (D) Marked "CHALLENGE / CUT. CO. / BRIDGEPORT / CONN.", also marked by Flylock. Aluminum scales with beaded border. Gray patina with strong spring. PROVENANCE: From a life long single consignor collection. A great many of these knives were obtained from Mark Erikson and many are pictured in his book "Antique American Switchblades" published in 2004. CONDITION: Good. Largest knife measures 3 - 1/2".
