Utilized by British, Canadian, and American Forces in early World War II against armored vehicles chambered in the proprietary .55 Boys cartridge. Receiver dated "40" and marked "R.B.MK I" for Rifle Boys Mark I. Receiver is finished in blue, the chassis in matte black paint. This example includes original padded butt plate with wooden handle, wood cheek piece, and wooden pistol grip. No barrel present although these actions can be fitted with barrels for the popular .50 BMG cartridge, utilizing the same bolt face and avoiding NFA Destructive Device regulations. CONDITION: Good retaining the vast majority of arsenal finishes with some expected wear.
