This is a semi-auto civilian variant of the more well-known Heckler & Koch G3. Fewer than 1,300 HK41s saw the light of day with less than 400 ever making their way to the U.S. HK41s were produced and even fewer imported into the U.S. for civilian consumption. Features include a 18" barrel, birdcage flash hider, 4-position drum rear sight, as well as a hooded HK pattern post front sight. Matching numbers are present on the receiver, bolt carrier, as well as on the bolt assembly. The left side of the receiver is stamped "HK41 10B 528" above HK's date code "11/65". The left side of the trigger pack housing is marked "MADE IN GERMANY FOR" "SANTA / FE" (within a chevron) over "SANTA FE DIVISION / GOLDEN STATE ARMS CORPORATION / PASADENA-CALIFORNIA-U.S.A. / CAL. 7.62mm NATO". The safety selector switch is marked "S", "SET" "F". This has a enhanced vintage and rarely seen Williams 0-1 Semi Auto "SET" trigger pack in the rare SET trigger housing with the vintage "sure grip" textured pistol grip. Metal components exhibit a grey-green parkerized finish and are mounted with a black polymer forend and pistol grip, with a wooden buttstock. CONDITION: Very good. Metal components retain virtually all of their original factory applied phosphate finish, exhibiting only a few minor marks from handling and storage overall. Wooden stock shows a few small impressions, Mirror bore, with sharp and well-defined lands and grooves throughout.
