This gun was made in 1863 and was the second most widely used rifle by both the North & South during the Civil War. Manufactured in classic configuration. CONDITION: Good, as heavily cleaned throughout, with freckling and signs of heavy use throughout. Lock shows significant freckling. Stock has been sanded and refinished with repair near hammer from burnout. Mechanically fine. Bore has been bored out to .62 Smoothbore.
