Originally manufactured in standard configuration, and then subsequently altered to percussion in the 1830s-1840s for military or militia use. 32 - 3/4" barrel in .52 caliber, rifled, with offset front and rear sights. Breech block is marked "J.H. HALL / H.FERRY / U S / (obfuscated)". CONDITION: Very good, with iron assemblies turned a freckled gray patina throughout. Stock shows no major signs of distress. Mechanically fine. Bore is bright with sharp rifling.
