SSP. Maker Marked "Baltimore Enamel & Novelty Company." An unusual C. 1920's single sided porcelain caution sign prohibiting patrons from entering or crossing railroad tracks. CONDITION: The porcelain sign shows great color and gloss in the field with only a few light surface scuffs. The outer edges and mounting holes of the sign show heavier porcelain loss, the worst of which is along the top center of the extreme outer edge. This sign comes in a vintage styled wood frame marked "H&M R.R. Co. Hoboken, NJ." It appears this frame was added more recently to complement the porcelain sign. A wonderful look and style.

Condition: (7.5).

Item Dimensions: 37 - 1/2" x 13 - 1/2".
