DSP. A desirable example of this C. 1940's double sided porcelain sign from Studebaker featuring the iconic company logo. This sign also comes with a period metal hood that hangs above the sign with six light bulbs for lighting. CONDITION: Side 1 shows good gloss and color. There are a series of small porcelain chips in the dark blue background that have been touched up at some point in the past. The extreme outer edges of the sign have also been touched up (7.5). Side 2 shows discoloration and damage throughout the field. The outer edges show oxidation and consistent porcelain loss (6.0). The metal hood has a wonderful patina with remnants of the original green paint still present. A modern power cord has been added to the hood for safety.

This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made.

Condition: (7.5,6.0).

Item Dimensions: Sign: 48" X 31.75". Hood: 67.5" X 19.5" X 7".
