DSP. This C. 1950's double sided porcelain sign from Chevron promoted their credit card program along with a wonderful winged "V" graphic. CONDITION: Side 1 shows good color and gloss. The field remains blemish free with only an occasional surface scuff to the gloss. There is one small porcelain chip in the letter "C" of "Cards." The outer field and edges show a few insignificant areas of porcelain chipping. The mounting holes retain four brass grommets and show no porcelain loss (8.5). Side 2 remains similarly nice with only a few more surface scuffs in the field, most notably a vertical scratch in the very center of the sign between the words "Credit" and "Cards." There is also small porcelain chips in the letter "N" of "Chevron," the letter "T" in "Credit," and the letter "A" in "Cards." The outer edges are clean showing only minor wear. The mounting holes are crisp (8.5).
