DSP. Marked "Property of the Goodyear Ture & Rubber Co., Inc." This C. 1950's double sided porcelain sign from Goodyear features the iconic company logo and winged foot graphic. CONDITION: Side 1 shows wonderful color and shine. There are scattered surface scratches in the field, which is most notable in the yellow lettering. The outer edges show light porcelain wear and chipping, with light oxidation staining. The mounting holes show wear and porcelain loss as well (8.5). Side 2 shows more surface scratches in the field. There is one small touched up area in the letter "R" of "Goodyear." There is also an isolated porcelain chip on the left corner of the sign. The outer edges and mounting holes show general wear with small areas of isolated chipping (8.0). This sign comes with a nice hanging bracket that has been repainted blue at some point in the past. Also attached to the bracket is a light kit with two original green porcelain lamp shades. A modern power cord has been applied for safety.
