DSP. Maker Marked "Walker & Co, Detroit." A desirable example of this C. 1930's double sided porcelain sign from Chevrolet Super Service featuring vibrant colors and nice diecut features around the bowtie logo. CONDITION: Side 1 shows a few small scattered chips in the field. The top two mounting holes show heavy porcelain loss and wear. The outer edges show porcelain chips and wear, the worst of which is along the bottom edge below the manufacturer mark. The right part of the bowtie that protrudes from the sign shows metal bending and porcelain loss as well (7.75). Side 2 has a cleaner field with no mentionable chips, but only a few scuffs and areas of discoloration. The top two mounting holes show heavy porcelain loss. The left side of the bowtie that protrudes from the sign shows porcelain loss and metal bending. The bottom edge center edge also shows a larger section of porcelain loss (8.0).
