German. Working. Unusual combination of handpainted figure and lithographed school board and base. Comes with one tin math problem plate. Some paint crazing to figure and slight damage to right wrist (which holds pointer). Includes original box with nice label on lid. Bottom of box is torn and needs to be put back together.
