Manufactured in 1896. Features a full octagon barrel, full length magazine tube, take down, folding Beech front sight, semi-buckhorn rear sight, tang sight, and walnut stock with rifle butt plate and matching forearm. CONDITION: Good. Metal is basically a dark patina with no real signs of any original finish. The Winchester barrel legend is strong. The stock is proud to metal with chip at upper left wrist, some dark staining and scattered impressions. The forearm is proud with chip at front left side, a hairline crack at forward right side with a chip at rear. Action works fine. Bore is well defined with some abrasions. PROVENANCE: Jim Cyr Collection.
