Manufactured in 1932. This gun has all the early features such as the checkered hammer catch, smooth trigger, ejector stop pin hole (pre-1936), early factory tapped upper tang with tang sight but modern screws. This barrel has the P in the elongated oval, indicating that it was ordered as barrel only. It is a later 61-3 style barrel and has a rounded crown. Standard features include a blue finish, dovetail front sight, 32-B flat top rear sight, plain pistol grip walnut stock, checkered steel butt plate, and matching first type flat bottom 11 groove forearm that measures only 6 1/2" along with early pre-War standard 13 - 1/2" length of pull. CONDITION: Excellent. About the only visible wear on frame are a few age freckles, touch of wear on slide bar edges, tube, and barrel, with a couple minor age freckles and some very minor light handling and a few stock impressions. Bore is bright. Has to be first or second month production with all proper era parts with exception to later replaced barrel. PROVENANCE: Jim Cyr Collection.
