DSP. This C. 1930's double sided porcelain flange sign from Mobil features the iconic Gargoyle graphic with nice gloss throughout. CONDITION: Side 1 shows a few porcelain chips in the center field. The outer edges show consistent porcelain chipping. The flange section of the sign shows the heaviest amount of porcelain loss (7.5). Side 2 is cleaner in the field with no significant porcelain loss to the lettering or graphic. There is some slight discoloration to the black lettering "Mobiloils." The outer edges of the sign show porcelain loss, the worst of which is on the left hand side of the sign (8.0).
