19,999 were manufactured in New Haven in 1978. Blued carbine length barrel game marked "antlered game" at the breech. Full length magazine tube retained by a pair of gold washed carbine bands. High blade front sight and u-notch rear. Gold washed receiver elegantly engraved with various elk, deer, and caribou game scenes with foliate scroll trim. Checkered walnut stocks of nice figure inset with a antlered game medallion and fitted with a blued steel crescent butt plate. Housed in its correct factory box with sleeve. CONDITION: Excellent. Virtually all of the factory finishes are retained with a few scattered freckles. Stock finish also has a few minor spots. A hairline split also present on the right side running from the medallion to the butt plate. Crisp, bright bore. Box has some wear form storage and display, as well as minor tape repairs to the sleeve. PROVENANCE: Jim Cyr Collection.
