Manufactured in 1904. Standard features include round barrel, full length magazine tube, unusual Bakelite type front sight blade on metal base, semi-buckhorn rear sight, solid frame, blue finish, and walnut stock with rifle butt plate and matching forearm. CONDITION: Fine. Rear areas of receiver retain some bright blue with balance blending grey patina. Some strong nitre blue on loading gate. Barrel and tube retains about 75% blue that is thinning and blending with some grey patina. Stock is proud at wrist, has added coat of varnish with scattered dings. Forearm shows some dents and has added finish but tone does not match the stock. The two line Winchester barrel legend is sharp. Bore is crisp with light frosting. PROVENANCE: Jim Cyr Collection.
