The basis for this rifle is an original percussion Sharps with original Sharps legends that was converted for centerfire. The very heavy octagon barrel has a brown finish and has a hand stamped "Sharps Rifle Hartford" legend on a modern-made barrel. The front sight is a knife blade. The rear sight is a modern semi-buckhorn with a ladder. The replacement stocks are walnut with a case color steel butt plate. The forearm has the pewter tip. Features double set triggers. CONDITION: Excellent as custom built. Razor sharp bore, double set triggers work. PROVENANCE: Jim Cyr Collection.
