Manufactured in 1907. Features include a full length magazine tube, post front sight with replaced blade, rear sight slot with filler, and tang sight. Blued finish, twin barrel bands, saddle ring and stud, a gumwood stock with carbine butt plate, and matching forearm. CONDITION: Very good. The only blue still showing is where a rear sight once was and a bit on loading gate, otherwise all metal is a smooth grey patina with sharp two line Winchester barrel legend. Stock is still proud to metal in some spots, flush with others, so it is probably cleaned. It has some added finish and scattered dings. Forearm in commensurate condition. The bore is strong and clean but lightly frosted. Action is fine. Rather scarce caliber in a carbine. PROVENANCE: Jim Cyr Collection.
