Manufactured in 1919. This carbine has a hooded ramp front sight which did not become standard until after 1932. While the barrel has the later Model 92 legend on left side and has the PW, this cataloger's opinion is that this is either a later addition front sight or factory rebarrel. Standard features include full tube magazine, semi-buckhorn rear sight, blue finish, single barrel band with tube hanger, saddle ring and stud, gumwood stock with a carbine buttplate and a walnut forearm. CONDITOIN: Very good. The gumwood stock is shy to metal, indicating replacement, while walnut forearm is proud to metal. Stock shows light dings and some chipping at toe. Forearm shows dings and finish loss. Receiver is a dark patina with blue in loading gate. Barrel retains about 85% blue with some light age freckling. Tube is about 95% with small dent. Bore is strong with some light frosting. Action is fine. PROVENANCE: Jim Cyr Collection.
