Manufactured in 1950. Standard rifle with round barrel, buttstock-fed tube magazine, blue finish, dovetailed front sight, plain walnut stock with pistol grip, checkered steel buttplate, and matching forearm. Rifle uses the rear sight slot for a scope mount while placing the rear mount at forward receiver. The scope is a period vintage Weaver J2.5 with a clear crosshair reticle. CONDITION: Excellent. Receiver shows 95% bright blue with some wear at forward base as well as some high edge wear. Blue finish on the barrel shows almost no wear sans light handling marks. The stocks are excellent, proud to metal with very nominal handling marks. Bore is bright. PROVENANCE: Jim Cyr Collection.
