Manufactured in 1915. Features the rare 2/3rds magazine, round barrel, single barrel band, post front sight, folding ladder rear sight, tang sight, saddle ring and stud, blue finish, and gumwood butt stock that has a steel carbine plate and a matching forearm. CONDITION: Fine. Receiver is a smooth patina. Barrel retains 60% blue that is thinning and blending with sharp Winchester barrel legends. Action is fine. Bore is strong but frosted. Stock is shy to metal having been refinished with small chip lower left wrist. Rare caliber in any carbine. PROVENANCE: Jim Cyr Collection.
