An attractive western themed bowie knife by renowned maker Jim Sornberger. The knife features an 8" blade crafted of 154CM steel that is beautifully decorated with a Wells Fargo stage coach on the obverse and a chest, bag, and pistol on the reverse. Marked "J. SORNBERGER / VOLCANO, CA." on ricasso. Large stag handle with engraved nickel silver hilt and pommel. This knife was crafted in the early 1990s. Blade remains bright with excellent and unmolested decoration. Grip exhibits 2 small cracks but remains sturdy. CONDITION: Very good. PROVENANCE: From the collection of Frank Brownell.
