Inducted into the Blade Magazine Hall of Fame in 2020, Jim Sornberger is perhaps one of the most well-known knifemakers of the last century. This knife features a 6 - 1/8" Damascus steel blade marked "J. SORNBERGER / VOLCANO, CAL.". Nickel silver ferrule and handle wrapped and engraved by maker with polished mammoth ivory and stone inlays. This knife was crafted in the late 1980s. Knife exhibits light wear with some blemishes on the blade and one mammoth ivory inlay is slightly exposed above the edge of the handle. Housed in a padded pouch. CONDITION: Good.
