Lot consists of: (A) California Dagger with maker marked blade on ricasso. Frame and guard are stainless steel with engraving on the borders and ivory scales with silver tacks on both sides and silver shield on one side. Scabbard is silver with an acanthus scroll on a textured background on one side and a belt clip on the other. (B) Miniature model Colt No.2 Derringer with ivory handle and acanthus scroll on a textured background. Both are housed in a black walnut French fitted case with velvet green liner. Top of the case lid has a blank brass nameplate. CONDITION: Very Good. Case is in good condition, with left side no longer present. PROVENANCE: From the collection of Frank Brownell.
