Distinct .476 Enfield Mark II revolver in. 476 with "break action" extractor and loading gate on right side. Wide checkered spurred hammer. Half moon front sight dovetailed onto island, simple notch rear across top strap. Cathedral steeple cylinder with a "(Crown) / 62" on rear face. "(Crown) VR / ENFIELD / 1884 / IL" on right side of frame near spur. Matching serials on barrel lug and frame. Non-rotatable lanyard loop. Smooth grips. With "NSWG.A179" on rear strap and "NSW / A / 179", for New South Wales Goals and New South Wales, Australia, respectively, and a rack number. CONDITION: Metal a smooth mixture of dove grey and some plumb bluing throughout, with flashes of better bluing in protected areas and some spotted missing throughout. Grips are very good, smooth, with crisp rack number. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, bore is very good with strong rifling and minor frosting.
