The design of this dagger was inspired by James Hardenbrook, who was a good friend of Steve Lindsay. The blade is crafted of ATS-34 stainless steel and features large engraved acanthus leaves on the hollow grinds pointing toward the point and the ricasso makes a triangle that makes up the vein of all the acanthus leaves. "Lindsay" is engraved on the ribbon on the obverse side of the blade and "1994" is engraved on the reverse. The handle and pommel are 416 stainless steel and are engraved with tear drops that feature gold scroll inlay. The guard also is engraved with raised gold scroll. The pommel is eight-sided with each side displaying a raised tear drop with gold scroll inlay. The edges of the handle are engraved with scrolled acanthus leaves. Light handling throughout. CONDITION: Excellent. PROVENANCE: From the collection of Frank Brownell.
