Manufactured in 1948. The era's premier target magazine fed bolt action .22 rifle. Features the heavy round barrel with sharp left side Winchester barrel legend. The front sight slot has a filler. There are two barrel mounted scope blocks that sport a vintage Lyman Super Targetspot tube scope, adjustable rear mount, and standard crosshair reticle. The magazine is marked but is flaking. Plain walnut stock with pistol grip, adjustable lower rail with swivel. Buttplate is checkered steel and the finish is blue. CONDITION: Excellent. Metal retains 98% original blue with just some light handling marks and muzzle wear. Wood is excellent showing some scattered handling marks and light finish loss. The action is crisp. The bore is strong but lightly frosted. Glass clear. PROVENANCE: Jim Cyr Collection.
