Manufactured in 1961. The era's premier target .22 rifle. Features the heavy round barrel with sharp left side Winchester barrel legend. The large Olympic style front tube sight on base. There is another scope base near rear sight area and one at breech. The Redfield target rear sight is attached at the rear scope mount. The adjustable front mount is engraved. Cannot find a makers name on the unusual scope. The magazine is not marked. Plain pistol grip walnut stock has the lower adjustable rail with swivel, as does stock. Buttplate is checkered steel and the finish is blue. CONDITION: Excellent. Metal retains nearly all the original blue with just some light handling marks. Wood is excellent showing minimal handling marks. The scope rubber eye cup has hardened. The action is crisp. The bore is bright. PROVENANCE: Jim Cyr Collection.
