Lower tang is dated 1864. Maynard patents on left side of receiver with "MASSARMS" on right side. Barrel features the integral pinched front sight with two leaf folding ladder rear sight. Stock is walnut with metal buttplate. Blue and case color finish. Saddle bar and ring. CONDITION: Fine. All case color has darkened but retains sharp legends. Barrel shows a consistent blue that is thinning in spots, dulling, with handling marks. Wood is excellent with scattered marks; no visible cartouches. Bore is strong and bright. Fine action.
