Half moon front sight, U notch flat top rear sight with visible temper line between ejection port and front sight, and "P" ahead of rear sight. Left side of slide with two-line two-block patent and address information with intercepting pony. Slide with matching serial number under firing pin retaining plate. Blued barrel with "COLT 45 AUTO" on lower left side of chamber. Frame has Broberg inspection under slide release and proof P at magazine release. Right side of frame with US Property marking, serial number, and model designation. Fiber grips with thin reinforcing rings and scoop lightening. Small parts comprise checkered spurred hammer, thick tab safety, checkered slide release, checkered magazine release, short checkered trigger, long A1 grip safety, and arched knurled mainspring housing with lanyard loop. Full blue magazine with "L" on baseplate lip for manufacture by Little. Accompanied by a waterproof pouch for the pistol with contractor control, information largely faded. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining virtually all of the factory parkerization with some scattered minor handling marks and some thinning to silver at muzzle consistent with holster wear. Takedown mark. Grips excellent with some minor handling marks. Mechanically fine, bore excellent with strong, bright rifling and some light even frosting. Waterproof pouch very good, whole.
