This H.H. Frank custom folding knife was crafted in November 1982. The knife features 14K gold liners and bolsters. The scales are mother of pearl shell held to the liners with 14K gold pins. There are two oval 14K inlays in the pearl also held with 14K gold pins. A 14K gold toothpick is housed in the end of the handle. The 14K gold bolsters are elegantly engraved in relief in a scroll pattern. The blade features a 24K gold line inlaid beneath the spine on each side. The blade engraving is also in relief but in a fine scroll pattern. There is a flower engraved with a 14K gold center along the spine as well as a flower engraved on the inside of the spine. H. H. Frank has applied his signature "French Grey" finish to the blade to show off the embellishments and to help prevent rust. The entire knife was crafted by hand. Light handling throughout. Housed in a black plush zipper case. CONDITION: Excellent. PROVENANCE: From the collection of Frank Brownell.
