Described as model number 10 and “extremely rare” in volume 4, page 843 of Florida Lure Makers And Their Lures. The story goes that in the 1920s in St. Augustine, FL, a man was testing his bicycle driven “airplane”, which was clad in celluloid “feathers” and somehow the airplane became wrecked. Local dentist H.C. Farrin bought the wreckage and turned these celluloid feathers into Superstrike Shrimp. This #10 Shrimp is in Very Good+ condition with 6 body sections (the 2nd and 6th sections missing pieces), black glass hat pin eyes, and the optional single Tarpon hook.
Item Dimensions: 3 - 1/2" Length.
