3 - 1/2" Length. Ultra rare and one of the most coveted of all Heddon Minnows, Will and Laura Heddon marketed these baits in Florida for a few years around 1905. This minnow is in Excellent condition with its 2 belly weights, oversized cups, high forehead profile, and blemish-free glass eyes. Three sets of hand painted gills with the distinctive curls at the tips help set this one apart from the other minnows in the Heddon line. There are two known Mohawk white pasteboard boxes, but the Legacy book does not mention a population of wood boxes. Nevertheless, accompanying the bait is a circa 1904 Type II wood box for the “New” Dowagiac Minnow along with an original paper label for The Jeanette Hawley. Of note is the broken font on “Jeanette Hawley”, suggesting an error during the printing process. An extremely important piece of Heddon History.

Item Dimensions: 3 - 1/2" Length.
