Manufactured in 1955. Standard rifle with blue finish, ramp front sight, semi-buckhorn rear sight, brass cartridge counter, hand checkered and oil finished walnut stock with pistol grip, grip cap, steel buttplate, sling eyes, and matching forearm. The lever is case colored and bolt is jeweled. Sports a Weaver K4 scope with crosshair reticle and tip of mounts. CONDITION: Excellent. Barrel retains majority of blue with light handling. The base of receiver is a silver-blue mix with same scattered freckles and high edge wear. The stocks are sharp with a few minor dings. Some strong color remains on sides of lever. Bore is well defined but lightly frosted. Glass is clear. Very desirable caliber in a 99.
