Manufactured in 1912. The .22 Savage Hi-Power cartridge was created by Charles Newton and introduced by Savage Arms in 1912 making this the first year it was offered. Features takedown, matching number walnut stock with matching forearm, Savage gutta percha butt plate, brass cartridge counter, high polish blue finish with case color lever, post front sight, and semi-buckhorn rear sight. CONDITION: This gun was professionally restored to near new condition and has sharp Savage barrel legends. Wood is excellent with minor impressions. The case colors at base of lever have faded, sides are still bright. Action is crisp. Bore is well defined but frosted.
