Barrel is marked made in Suhl, Germany. Caliber marked on left side. Receiver is case color with leaf pattern silver inlay. Barrel is matte finish with folding leaf rear sight on base and a ramp front. The floor plate is case color with en suite nearly complete coverage silver inlay leaf pattern with "MERKEL" in gold. The oil finished and checkered walnut stock with pistol grip, solid black pad, sling eyes, and done in the European style. Rifle sports a Doctor 2.5-10x50 German scope. CONDITION: Excellent. This high grade Merkel shows as new with light handling marks only.
