Manufactured in 1957. Blue and case color finish with two piece hard rubber grips. Six shot fluted cylinder. The action indexes and locks up tight. It has all four clicks in the action. It has a single line address on top of the barrel, "COLT'S PT. F. A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A.". Caliber designation on the left side of the barrel, "COLT BUNTLINE SPECIAL .45". Two line patent address and a rampant Colt logo on the left side of the frame. VP proof on the left front trigger bow. Matching serial numbers on the frame, trigger guard, backstrap and on the inside of each grip. There is a 317 bin number on the loading gate and a BB134 on the bottom of the barrel. CONDITION: Thinning blue on the left side of the barrel ejector rod housing and the grip straps. Vibrant case colors with a little silvering on the right side of the frame. The grips show use and have a few dings and dents in them. Bright and shiny bore with sharp lands and grooves.
