One of 500 finely made Model 70 rifles manufactured in 2016 by Browning to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Winchester. The barrel is engraved in gold filled script "The American Legend 1866 - 2016." The tapered sporting weight barrel is finished in lustrous polished blue and embellished with a gold band around the muzzle and foliate scroll engraving at the breech. Blued, foliate scroll engraved receiver with jeweled pre-64 style claw extractor bolt. The nicely figured walnut stock features fleur-de-lis pattern checkering, an ebony forend tip, super grade style dished sling eyes, engraved grip cap, double line cheek piece, and Decelerator recoil pad. Floor plate is special engraved with a central roundel of the iconic Winchester rider logo reading "1866 - 2016 / 150 YEARS" done in gold and surrounded by foliate scrollwork. The laser engraving extends onto the trigger guard which features a central gold "WRACO" monogram. Rifle is housed in its matching factory box. CONDITION: Excellent, as new with only light handling. Barrel sticker is intact. Very good, strong bore with some mild firing residue. Fine mechanics.
