Essentially a "what-if" project that imagined what would have happened if John Moses Browning had scaled his widely popular pocket pistols into the .45 ACP caliber, these guns are aesthetically very similar to larger Colt 1903 Hammerless pistols with blade front sight, U notch round top rear sight, external extractor, left side thumb safety, short serrated trigger, and grip safety. This example, with a custom serial number, was further embellished with gold wirework borders, and flowing acanthus scroll in approximately C+ coverage, somewhat over 75%, with charcoal blue on slide and frame, fire blued small parts, and ivory grips scrimshawed with a design of a scorpion on either scale. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining virtually all of the finishes with some very minor handling marks, most likely shop wear; NOS or equivalent. Engraving is crisp and well cut. Ivory with lovely cream coloring. Mechanically fine, bore very good with strong rifling and some firing residue.
