Retailer marked on the right side of the receiver, "A.F. STOEGER INC. / NEW YORK." On the right side of the frame it is marked, "LUGER - REGISTERED U.S. PATENT OFFICE." There is an American Eagle crest on top of the chamber and DWM in scroll on the front toggle link. GERMANY export mark on the front of the frame under the serial number. Inverted V front sight and a V notch rear sight. Two piece checkered wood grips with a nickel magazine with a wood bottom. GELADE is marked on the left side of the extractor and GESICHERT is at the upper position by the thumb safety. All matching numbers except the left grip. The left grip screw does not match the gun either. It comes in a period black leather flap holster marked in ink on the inside "A.F. STOEGER INC / NEW YORK". CONDITION: This gun retains virtually all of the factory applied blue finish. The left grip screw has been re-blued. Bright and shiny bore with sharp lands and grooves. The checkering on the grips is sharp and crisp. The holster is in very good condition with tight and serviceable stitching.
